Bruce Staples is one of the Greater Yellowstone area s most experienced fly fishers.  This experience has allowed him write articles for several major fly fishing magazines and to author three majorbooks on fly fishing in this area through Frank Amato Publications: Snake River Country Flies and Waters,  The Yellowstone Park River Journal and Trout Country Flies (released in January, 2003).  Bruce has demonstrated his fly tying skills on an international basis and teaches all skill levels of fly tying.  He is a frequent participant in the Fly Tying Theatres of the International Sportsmen’s Expositions.   In 2001 he was the thirty-third recipient of the Federation of FlyFishers Buz Buszek Memorial Award for fly tying excellence.
