A Letter on our Hooks from the Heartland
Dear Sir or Madam,
First of all I want to start out this letter by saying that I think your company Daiichi Hooks makes some of the best fly tying hooks on the market. I have had the privilege of using various Daiichi hooks for fly tying and am amazed that not everyone in the fly tying world has caught on to them. Actually I am intrigued to find that during many of the classes that I teach, individuals in my region, the upper Midwest do not really know much about your products. I got started using your products when I was out West a few years back and have been using them ever since because they simply are better then all the rest. I am very impressed with your company and the products it distributes and most certainly would very much like to help get the word out. My personal experience in this industry comes from being a professional guide and fly tier that ties commercially and teaches tying classes to both adults and children for the last ten years. Most of my flies make their homes in fly shops in the Northern Midwest but some have found their way as far as Northern California. I contribute monthly to several online magazines, websites and newsletters for organizations such as Basspro, Orvis, AFF and the Online fly tyer. When not on the bench or behind the computer I spend my time with companies such as Gatti rods or Monic Fly Lines working as a part of their pro-staff doing product testing pieces and seminars. After ten years in the business I am certain that I have not come across a product as dependable as yours. I believe in your products and hopefully we can come together to get others to feel the same way. Tight lines and Smooth threads.
