Your new reel runs through several production steps.
The dressing of semi-finished products is done by means of a separate crosscut saw. The feeding of the machined part into a turning lathe followed by a milling machine is effected automatically or semi-automatically. Subsequently a computer-controlled unit carries out the complete chipping procedure. Ever-finer precision tools work towards the defined tolerance limit of the final product. The machine tools and tooling are the best one can use within this technology. Body housings, reel cages, spools, axes, handles, reel feet, etc. are designed and produced in our own manufacturing plant.

We are aware of the significance of professionally carried out processes. Therefore we make it a point to complete the production process in our own workshops. Only the technically complex surface finishing anodizing process is performed by a specialized and well-known outside company.

After this treatment the final laser engraving is carried out back in our own workshop.

Your new reel is made of a highly clean aluminum alloy that is primarily used in aerospace technology.	The material’s structural homogeneity and the lack of lead additives are advantageous to its corrosion resistance.
A semi-finished reel part is ready to be fed into the turning lathe or milling machine. Precision already starts here. Only exactly prepared parts find their way into the lathe chuck.	Only 30 percent of the green body remains to form the final reel. Turning and milling chips of the valuable material will be carefully collected and recycled.
Working with appropriate machining equipment is not enough. Our processing station is equipped with control programs that are adapted to the special needs of the material.	Experience cannot be substituted. All our employees have a deep understanding for each individual production step. We call it “understanding the way of precisely working”.
The result achieved can be seen, felt and experienced: finest surfaces, a smooth fit and finish, and subtle draw-off sounds. Our reels are not only highly appreciated for their functionality and their reliability but will also be experienced as highpoints in terms of appearance and pleasant haptics.
