Brian Chan: Daiichi Pro Staff
Brian Chan, celebrated stillwater fly fisher, fly tyer, author, angling guide and video producer from British Columbia, Canada has joined the Daiichi Hooks pro staff and will promote Daiichi hooks from his Kamlooops, BC base to anglers and fly tyers around the world.
Brian studied freshwater ecology at university and as a provincial fisheries biologist managed recreational fisheries in BC for over 30 years. His merits include the writing of many articles in key fly fishing magazines, authoring and co-authoring several books, regular appearances on several TV fishing shows and appearances at countless seminars and fly tying clinics. Most recently he has partnered with Phil Rowley to create innovative fly patterns, produce a video series Conquering Chironomids and open an online store at www.stillwaterflyfishingstore.com. Brian was a 2014 recipient of a “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Fly Tyer Magazine.
