Founded in 1989, Angler Sport Group (ASG) was located in rural upstate New York between the cities of Buffalo and Rochester until 2024 when the organization was relocated to Southeast Tennessee.

In 2016, ASG was acquired by Ranger Outdoors, LLC, and remains the exclusive distributor of Daiichi® Fly Fishing and C&F Design North America.
